This equipment is designed for the preparation and dosing of the the Biomicrogel® BMG-C4 oil extraction additive. The unit is designed for use in palm oil plants with a processing capacity of 15 to 60 FFB t/h (Fresh Fruit Bunches). The nominal capacity of this station is 1000 l/h of the solution with a concentration of 1% to 3%.

The station for the preparation and dosing of a 3% solution of the Biomicrogel® BMG-C4 oil extraction additive operates in automatic mode.

The operator loads the Biomicrogel® BMG-C4 oil extraction additive into the hopper for dosing the dry powder and sets the toggle switch of the BMG PDS-1000.1c to Automatic. After that, the solenoid valve for the supply of service water opens up and the dry powder dosing unit is turned on, dispensing powder from the hopper. Then the wetted powder and water enter the first dissolution chamber, where dissolution occurs with the aid of a paddle mixer set to 100 rpm. After filling the first chamber, the pre-solution enters the second chamber, where the final dissolution occurs with a paddle mixer rotating at a speed of 100 rpm stirring it. At the next stage, the ready-made 3% solution enters the storage and dosing chamber, from where the solution is automatically pumped out by the dosing pump, according to the dosage predefined by the operator, into the customer's system. The station operates in automatic mode using signals from level sensors installed in chambers used for storing and dosing the solution. When the storage and dosing chamber is filled with the solution, the upper level sensor closes, sending a signal to stop the powder dispenser and close the solenoid valve for the water supply. When emptying the storage and dosing chamber, the lower level sensor opens, sending a signal to stop the dosing pump, open the solenoid valve for the water supply, and start the dry powder dosing unit. The dosing pump operates from the on/off signal of the main transfer pump and from the level sensors in the storage and dosing chamber.

The station for the preparation and dosing of the Biomicrogel® BMG-C extraction additive is shipped as a semi-knocked-down kit. The assembly and commissioning of the station is carried out locally by the customer under the supervision of representatives from SPC BioMiсroGel LLC. Prior to installation, preparatory works should be carried out by the customer to get the site ready for the permanent operation of the unit.
