Biomicrogels Group entered the finals of Cleantech Open 2014

R&D and manufacturing company BioMicroGels qualified for the final of CleanTech Open 2014, the global forum of environmentally sound technologies that was held in San-Francisco.

As a first stage on its way to CleanTech Open 2014, BioMicroGels reached the finals of GenerationS-2014, the Russian accelerator competition for tech-startups. The green technology track of this competition was supervised by CleanTech Russia, the Russian office of the forum, which selected BioMicroGels, along with two other finalists, to demonstrate their developments at the global forum in San Francisco.

The team of the Biomicrogel Group presented their developments in terms of Oil Spill Response Plan (OSRP) at the International Exhibition of OSRP solutions CLEAN GULF Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans, USA in November, 2018. The major players of petroleum refining industry sector referred to them as “breakthrough innovations”.

In September 2020, the experts from SPC BioMicroGel have completed a series of successful pilot tests for separation of spent cutting fluids (coolant lubricants) at the plant of PJSC Severstal in Cherepovets. The coagulating agent BMG-P2-02-03 used in these tests has proven its effectiveness, having purified the water up to the levels specified by the customer.
