Biomicrogel® Flocculant BMG-С2
Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculants for the treatment of water are high-molecular polymer compounds acting as molecular links designed for merging the smaller particles of pollutants into bigger and sustainable floccules (agglomerates), which easily settle/float upwards and are easily physically separated from the water.

Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculants paste form are supplied in 19 kg plastic buckets or in 220-liter barrels as requested by the customer.
Store the product in a cool and dry place. Keep the entire protective packaging safe before using the product.
To avoid hydrolysis or an increase in microbial counts or fungi, resulting in its deterioration, use the Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculant treatment solution within 60 days after its preparation. The guaranteed storage life in dry form is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
After precipitation from water Biomicrogel® flocculant BMG-С2 shall be disposed of in accordance with effective legislation.
The following FCCW Code is applicable: 7 23 301 02 39 4: “The sediment (sewage sludge) from the flotation treatment of oily wastewaters, containing less than 15% of petroleum products”.
Laboratory testing of the treatment of produced wastewaters from oil refineries indicated that the sediment containing the Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculant can be disposed of by means of supplying it to the start of the water treatment cycle (primary separator). The findings of this lab test indicated that the oil quality will not change significantly and will remain within the regulated maximum permissible concentrations.
Application in solutions

Required equipment

The purification process starts with the destabilization of the cutting fluid in the oxidation reactor by lowering its pH value with a solution of the 4A activator (acidic). Then the destabilized emulsion is subsequently treated with solutions of the Biomicrogel® BMG-P2 coagulant, A1 activator (coagulant), and A6 activator (flocculant). These reagents are mixed using an agitator installed inside the reactor. The batch separation reactor consists of a metal crate and a plastic reservoir placed inside it with a paddle stirrer installed. The tank is made of materials that can be used in contact with various substances, including aggressive ones. As a result of the dosing and mixing of the reagents, oil products are bound and a poorly soluble sediment is formed, which, after settling, is pumped out for further utilization. The clarified water produced as a result of separating the cooling fluid in the reactor is then discharged or is sent for further purification. The plant includes all the necessary technological equipment, piping for the technological equipment with the required shut-off and control valves, as well as devices used for monitoring and automating the technological processes. If necessary, the plant can be complimented with the following instrumentation: pH sensor, level sensor, phase separation sensor.
