Flocculant Biomicrogel® BMG-С2
Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculants for treatment of water are high-molecular polymer compounds acting as molecular links designed for merging the smaller particles of pollutants in bigger and sustainable floccules (agglomerates), which easily settle/float upwards and are easily separated from water physically.
|Physical form||Clear solution or paste|
|рН* value||5.0 – 8.0|
Biodegradability and environmental friendliness
Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculants are well compatible with almost all flocculants based on inorganic salts of polyvalent metals. They are suitable for cleaning water from any types of lubricants, oil and petroleum products.
Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculant has modifications as solution and paste.
The solution of Biomicrogel® BMG-C200.5 flocculant is ready for proportioning.
Dilute concentrated paste of Biomicrogel® BMG-C210 flocculant in water using static mixer or other appropriate mixing device suitable for making homogeneous solution.
Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculants in form of solution are supplied in 1000 liters IBC containers.
Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculants in form of paste are supplied in 19 kg plastic buckets or in 220-liter barrels as requested by customer.
Store the product in cool and dry place. Keep the entire protective packaging safe before using the product.
To avoid hydrolysis or increase of microbial counts, fungi, hence resulting in deterioration, use the treatment solution of Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculant within 60 days after its preparation. Guaranteed storage life in dry form – 12 months as of date of manufacture.
After precipitation from water Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculant shall be disposed of in accordance with effective legislation.
The following FCCW Code is applicable: 7 23 301 02 39 4: “The Settlement (sewage sludge) of flotation treatment of oily wastewaters, containing less than 15% of petroleum products”.
Laboratory testing in treatment of produced wastewaters of oil refineries indicated that the settlement containing Biomicrogel® BMG-C2 flocculant can be disposed of by means of supplying it to head of water treatment cycle (primary separator). The findings of this lab test indicated that the oil quality will change insignificantly and will remain within regulated maximum permissible concentrations.
